Looks like this year, I'm going to have to get my 'ocean fix' from on top of the water instead of beneath the waves. Lots of time and learning with the new kayak. In addition to the sail, amas, and oversized sail rudder, I put a furling kit on, so a windy day won't get me drowned. I have the daggerboard on order too, which should hopefully improve performance. Without it, she only likes to reach. Downwind and close haul both tend to be suboptimal. Still having the pedal drive is quite fun, and decent exercise to boot.
