This year I'm shooting for at least 1 dive in New England waters, in every month of the year. I picked up a nice Henderson semi-dry suit back in December, and it seems to be doing the job rather nicely. I'm still using a pair of Deep See 3-finger mittens. No complaints there, but my 5mm boots are just not getting it done in anything colder than 40º (4.4ºC for you Celsius types). About 25 minutes in, I had decided I had enough, and checked out. Shame too, because the viz was nice, even for Old Garden. Oh well, the box for February is ticked. See you in March :-)
